NYSERDA Energy Audit Program

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is still accepting applications for its agriculture energy audit program. The program provides free energy audits while identifying future energy efficiencies and savings opportunities for producers to consider on their operations.

Eligible producers must be customers of a New York state investor-owned utility and contribute to the System Benefits Charge (SBC). We encourage producers to check their farm’s current utility bills to see if they pay the SBC.

See the program overview and application for more information. Please feel free to contact George Harper at 816-801-6146, or by email at geharper@dfamilk.com for more information about on-farm grant programs available in your area.
